Understanding the Investment Behind Our Sphynx Kittens
At Purradox Sphynxery, our pricing reflects far more than simply the cost of a kitten. It represents the enormous investment required to ethically raise healthy, well-socialized, pedigreed Sphynx cats while continuously improving the quality of care we provide.
Responsible Sphynx breeding is a full-time commitment that requires advanced knowledge, ongoing education, specialized veterinary care, and significant daily hands-on involvement.
What Goes Into Raising a Purradox Sphynx Kitten?
Every kitten benefits from substantial investments in:
| Area of Investment | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| Advanced Health Testing | Annual HCM echocardiograms, PCR disease testing, genetic screening, FIV/FeLV testing, fecal testing, and veterinary monitoring help reduce preventable health risks within our program. |
| High-Quality Nutrition | Premium food, supplements, kitten support products, and proper maternal nutrition are essential for healthy growth, immune support, skin health, and development. |
| Veterinary Care | Wellness exams, vaccinations, deworming, emergency care, medications, spay/neuter procedures, and health certificates all contribute to responsible placement. |
| Facility Improvements & Maintenance | We are actively investing in a dedicated cattery facility designed specifically for feline health, safety, enrichment, cleanliness, and proper socialization. |
| Equipment & Supplies | Heated beds, climbing structures, enrichment items, litter systems, sanitation equipment, air filtration, nursery supplies, scales, incubators, and daily cleaning materials are ongoing operational expenses. |
| Socialization & Development | Our kittens are raised with extensive daily interaction, handling, exposure therapy, grooming, litter training, and environmental enrichment to help create confident, affectionate companions. |
| Time & Expertise | Ethical breeding requires years of research, mentorship, pedigree analysis, reproductive management, neonatal monitoring, record keeping, and around-the-clock care for mothers and kittens. |

Our Signature Program kittens start around $2,500, while Prestige kittens range from $3,000–$3,500. Elite Program kittens—such as those with Dominant Blue Eyes (DBE) or rare odd eyes—range from $3,800–$5,000+ depending on traits and availability.

Classic Sphynx Line
Focused on the traditional look of the Sphynx breed, these kittens feature balanced wrinkle patterns, longer muzzle profiles, and a classic athletic body type.Modern Sphynx Line
For those who love extra wrinkles and a more “Persian-inspired” short-faced look, our modern line focuses on producing kittens with heavy wrinkle patterns, shorter muzzles, and the distinct facial structure popular among modern Sphynx enthusiasts.DBE & Odd-Eyed Program
We are proud to specialize in producing kittens carrying the Dominant Blue Eye (DBE) gene and odd-eyed Sphynx kittens—some of the rarest and most captivating eye colors found in the breed.
Our DBE Line includes kittens who carry the Dominant Blue Eye (DBE) trait or display odd-colored eyes. Eye color can evolve slightly as kittens grow, so placements are made after traits are confirmed around 6–8 weeks.
While we do not offer in-house financing, we accept Affirm, Afterpay, or PayPal Credit through eligible platforms. You can also break up payments after placing a deposit, as long as the kitten is paid in full by 12 weeks.
Yes. All potential adopters must complete our online application. Once approved, you can either reserve an available kitten or place a Priority Member deposit to be matched from future litters.
Sphynx breeding involves extensive health testing, vet care, genetic screening, specialized nutrition, and hand-raising kittens in a clean, indoor environment. Their care is intense, but their loyalty and personality are priceless.
Classic Line: Traditional look – longer face, moderate wrinkles, athletic build.
Modern Line: Shorter face, heavy wrinkles, round cheeks – a modern twist on the breed.
DBE Line: Focused exclusively on rare eye genetics (DBE or odd eyes) – regardless of face or body style.
Gender does not affect pricing. However, rarer colors or patterns (such as blue, mink, seal, or bicolor) and eye traits may influence whether a kitten is placed in our Elite Program.
Occasionally, we retire a King or Queen from our program. These cats are placed at a lower adoption fee and make wonderful companions. Inquire to be added to the Priority List for a retiree.
